Hell, in the September 11th Epic Poem

The Following is an excerpt from chapter 17 of the September 11th Epic Poem. The rough draft was written between June 2008 and May 2010. It is 2,000 lines long and has 1,499 rhyming pairs.

The deeds we’ve done beneath the sun
Are filled with hate and vice.
Where justice stands the law demands
            That someone pays the price.
The laws decree a penalty
             Your heart knows very well:
That in the end you’ll have to spend
            Eternity in hell.
